Daily dish: Your daily menu, just a click away. With Daily Dish, the cafeteria menu is always at your fingertips, updated and ready to be consulted from your mobile device.
Problem
Daily Dish users encountered difficulties in obtaining timely menu updates, placing orders in a streamlined manner, and confirming the availability of food items.
Solution
The Daily Dish app revolutionized the user experience by providing easy and up-to-date access to menus, instant notifications about menu changes, and a simplified ordering process through a WhatsApp button with a pre-written message.
My role
In my role as UX/UI Designer, I was responsible for the user-centered design of Daily Dish. From start to finish, I focused on creating an intuitive and user-friendly app that met our users’ needs.
Design Process
Throughout the development of Daily Dish, i relied on Design Thinking methodologies to focus on user needs and experiences. Simultaneously, we employed Lean UX principles to optimize the development process, prioritizing the creation of a minimum viable product and obtaining constant feedback, which allowed us to deliver a high-quality solution in a timely and cost-effective manner

- Increase user satisfaction: Make users happier with the food ordering experience by reducing frustration and time wasted.
- Increase user base: Attract more employees to use the app and make it the primary platform for ordering food.
- Optimize the ordering process: Make the ordering process as simple and fast as possible, from viewing the menu to confirming the order.
- Reduce food waste: By facilitating menu viewing and allowing users to place orders in advance, the amount of food discarded at the end of the day can be reduced.
